HEAR FROM THE MARLIN FAMILY
When I was there, many families like the Birdsongs, the Prudens, the Kellams, the Boyds, the Eggelstons, and more gave a lot of money because they believed in Virginia Wesleyan College.
- Susie B.
VWC Class of 1972
The rebranding is a slap in the face to my dad's generation and the people of the Methodist Church.... Parishioners paid weekly for years to help build Virginia Wesleyan College.
- Scott S.
VWC Class of 1982
President Miller and the Board... were remiss in not including alumni, faculty, and faculty emeritus in the decision making process to change the name of Virginia Wesleyan.
- Debbie R.
VWC Class of 1978
Changing the name... will throw out over 60 years of history. We will throw out over 60 years of tradition and most importantly, we will throw out over 60 years of branding.
- Howard B.
VWC Class of 1982
